How It Works
Send Us Your Utility Bill
We review your electric utility bill and submit it to your provider (UI or Eversource) for rebate pre-approval under the publicly funded EV Charging Incentive Program.
Sign the Authorization Agreement
We’ll send you a simple service agreement that outlines project scope, warranty, and ownership terms. This agreement authorizes Cornerstone Energy to install and manage your chargers under the rebate program.
Installation & Setup
We handle the site assessment, permitting, installation, and software setup. Our certified technicians install Green Joules chargers — known for their reliability and smooth user experience.

What’s the catch?
The catch? You’re already paying for it.
Every month, there’s a small line item on your electric bill called the Public Benefit Charge — it’s basically a built‑in tax that funds clean energy and EV programs. The rebate money for these chargers comes directly from that fund, so you’re just taking advantage of something you’ve already been paying into every month.
Who manufactures the chargers?
We use Green Joules EV chargers, backed by a manufacturer warranty and 24/7 customer care.
What’s included in the scope of work?
Turnkey support — we handle your rebate application, site survey, permitting, installation, setup, and aftercare.
What are my responsibilities?
Just send your utility bill and authorize the project agreement. We manage the rest.
How long does the program last?
A standard 5-year hosting period is required for participation in the rebate incentive program.
How much can I make?
You can earn $3–$4 per hour of charging per plug. Each charger has two plugs, meaning up to $6–$8 per hour potential earnings when both are in use. Actual income depends on your site traffic and electricity rates.
