Zero-Cost EV Charging for Your Property

What This Program Is (For Owners)
This is a zero‑cost EV charger installation program for multifamily and commercial property owners. Instead of you paying for the chargers and construction, your utility’s incentive funds cover most or all of the cost. You get new EV chargers on your property, installed and turned on, without writing a check for the installation.

The Public Benefits Charge, in Plain English
Every month, your electric bill includes a line called a “public benefits charge” (or similar).
This is a small fee all customers pay. The money goes into a fund your utility uses to support energy programs—like EV charging and efficiency upgrades. You’ve been paying into this fund for years.
Our job is to help you use those dollars so they pay for EV chargers at your property.

How the Program Works for Property Owners
We designed this to be fully turnkey. Your part is light; we handle the heavy lifting.

1. Send Your Utility Bill
You send us a recent electric bill for the property and basic information about your parking.
We check if your building qualifies for zero‑cost EV charger installation.

2. Site Visit and Design
We visit your property, review the parking layout and electrical service, and design a charger plan that fits your building and meets utility requirements.

3. Utility Incentive Approval
We prepare and file all incentive and rebate paperwork with the utility under your account. The utility reviews the project and confirms how much of the cost will be covered before any work starts.

4. Installation at No Upfront Cost to You

After approval, we manage the entire installation: coordination with your team, permits, and inspections. For qualifying properties, the incentive funds pay for the charger equipment and installation work.

5. Chargers Turn On, Drivers Pay

When the chargers go live, your residents, tenants, employees, and visitors pay to charge their vehicles.
You control the pricing, so charging can cover the added electricity and generate a new revenue stream for your property.
